The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to soon announce its website opportunities.rbi.org.in and newspaper advertisement for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022. According to reports, registration for RBI Assistant will start from February 17. Candidates can register for this recruitment till March 8.

According to reports, a total of 950 vacancies will be filled across the country in various offices of the bank in the west, south, north and east zones. The bank will conduct a nationwide examination for the selection of candidates in this recruitment. The first phase of the examination i.e. RBI Assistant Prelims is expected on 26th and 27th March 2022. Those who qualify in the prelims will be called for the main examination.

The RBI is also expected to plan training at specific centers for a limited number of SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates as per government guidelines. Candidates who are looking for a job as an assistant in RBI Bank should have a bachelor’s degree.

RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Knowledge of Word Processing on PC is required for graduation in any branch with an overall score of at least 50% (pass class for SC / ST / PWD candidates). As well as candidates in the category of ex-servicemen (excluding dependents of ex-servicemen) must have either graduated from a recognized university or have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and have been in the Defense service for at least 15 years. Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruitment office should be proficient in the language of the state (i.e. read, write, speak and understand the language).

The age limit for this post will be 20 to 28 years.

RBI Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

– Selection for these posts will be done through online examinations in two stages.

– Language Proficiency Test (LPT), Assistant Exam Pattern

RBI Recruitment 2022: Prelims Exam Pattern:

Total number of questions – 100 in 3 sections (30 in English, 35 in Mathematics and 35 in Reasoning Ability)

Total marks – 100

Time – 20 minutes for each section

RBI Recruitment 2022: Mains Exam Pattern:

Reasoning test will consist of 40 questions, maximum 40 marks and 30 minutes. There will also be 40 questions in English language, maximum 40 marks and 30 minutes time. Similarly Numeric Test will have 40 questions, maximum 40 marks and 30 minutes time, General Awareness 40 questions, maximum 40 marks and 25 minutes time and Computer Knowledge 40 questions, maximum 40 marks and 20 minutes time. There will be a total of 200 questions, 200 marks and a time of 135 minutes.

Note: Both Prelims and Mains will have negative marking of 1/4 marks

RBI Recruitment 2022: Language Proficiency Test

Candidates who pass the main examination will have to appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LTP). The Language Proficiency Test will be taken in the local language of the respective state as given below. In which the loser will be disqualified.

– Open RBI’s official website opportunities.rbi.org.in and visit ‘Current Vacancies’ and then click on ‘Vacancies’

– Now find the “Recruitment for the post of Assistant” option and click on it. Then a new screen will open.

– To register the application, select the “Click here for New Registration” tab and enter the name, contact details.

– Check your details and save your application by clicking on ‘Validate your details’ and Save & Next button
