Students who have studied continuously from 1st to 8th standard and select bright students and study them in 8th standard ITE Act in independent schools from class-9 to class-12 selected as per the norms prescribed by the Education Department.
According to this scheme, the students who have got admission to class-1 within the limit of 25% and those who are studying in class-8 will get the benefit of this scheme. Students whose parent’s income does not exceed the income limit prescribed for admission under the RTE Act at the time of the scholarship examination will be eligible to take the examination.
